Dear CISD Families,
Planning for the 20-21 school year is moving forward with mixed emotions. Excitement and eagerness is combined with challenges like we’ve never encountered before.
As you may be aware, the Texas Education Agency has recently provided guidance that will allow public schools to generate attendance funding for students who choose to participate in remote learning. This type of optional, educational experience means instruction could be provided using a variety of online methods, instead of your child attending school in a face-to-face, brick and mortar environment.
CISD is in the early phases of planning for remote learning. We need your feedback to help us create the best plan for our students and families. The survey below is to gather data for planning purposes only. You are not bound to your survey responses. We need your thoughtful and honest feedback.
The CISD administrative team appreciates your support and words of encouragement. We are working diligently to not just have “a plan”, but “the best plan” in place for our students by August 19th. We are anxiously awaiting more guidance from TEA to determine what our new school environment will look like.
