Parents and Staff,
We have received a confirmed positive test for an elementary student. They were not on campus yesterday. They were here Monday, started running low grade fever late into the night Monday, early Tuesday morning.
All Chireno employees and students are instructed to continue to follow CDC and TEA guidelines and recommendations and to practice social distancing.
Out of an abundance of caution, we advise you to monitor your health and contact your primary care physician if you develop symptoms.
Chireno ISD is continuing to monitor this situation and will provide additional information as needed.
