Substitute Teacher
Substitute teachers are responsible for providing instruction and managing classroom environments in absence of the regular teacher. Substitute teachers are required to perform all of the duties of the teacher that they are subbing for. They usually report to the principal at the location to which they are assigned. Substitute assignments can be for just a day, a week, or sometimes for longer periods depending on the absence period of the regular teacher. Training will be provided.

Life Skills Paraprofessional Position
Chireno ISD is looking for self-motivated and team oriented individuals to serve as paraprofessionals in the CISD special education department. These individuals will be working with life skills students and assisting the lead teachers with an assortment of responsibilities relating to the daily routines and regiments of special education students. These positions will be for the 2025-2026 school year. Life Skills Teacher Position
Chireno ISD is looking for self-motivated life skills teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. These individuals will be responsible for teaching special education students with a focus on basic life skills along with an individualized education plan. Class sizes will be small. All applicants must be certified in special education.
