Parents and Staff,
Chireno ISD was notified of a student in the co-op who has tested positive for COVID-19. All the students in that class plus his teacher and aides have been sent home to quarantine effective immediately and may return on February 16th.
All Chireno employees and students are instructed to continue to follow CDC and TEA guidelines and recommendations and to practice social distancing.
Out of an abundance of caution, we advise you to monitor your health and contact your primary care physician if you develop symptoms.
Chireno ISD is continuing to monitor this situation and will provide additional information as needed.
